Mr. Frattaroli began working with the firm on a part-time basis in
1949. After graduating from Stamford High School and three years in the
United States Marine Corps, he joined the firm full-time. Mr.
Frattaroli, whose father founded the firm, oversees the supervision of the
field crews and the in-house survey computing efforts. Additional
responsibilities include writing proposals for new projects, providing
close communication with clients to keep them informed of the status of
projects and office management.
Mr. Frattaroli has directed various projects of multi-unit housing
developments, public institutions, commercial and industrial complexes,
highways and re-development projects for a wide variety of builders,
construction companies, developers and architects throughout Connecticut.

Mr. Pugliesi started his career as a Civil Engineer and Project Manager
for Ernst, Ernst and Lissenden in Tom’s River, New Jersey. In
1983, he joined Edward J. Frattaroli. As a Principle of the firm, he has
performed and managed civil engineering services for private and public
sector clients throughout Southern Connecticut. He has extensive
experience in site planning and design, subdivision design, hydraulics,
hydrology, stormwater management, flood control and septic design.
Mr. Pugliesi is very knowledgeable in the procedures and criteria for
design approvals by local and state agencies. His experience
includes the necessary coordination with citizens groups, review agencies
and affected utility companies. Mr. Pugliesi has primary
responsibility for the review and quality control for all design documents
prepared by the firm.
